The Dashboard is the birds-eye view of your directory — one screen showing how setup is progressing, recent publishing activity, and quick links to the sections you use most. It’s the first screen you land on inside Directorist.

Arriving from the Setup Wizard #
Once you complete the Setup Wizard and click Launch my directory, this is where you land. If you exited the wizard early instead, the Dashboard shows setup prompts above the rest of the screen until you finish:
- A Welcome to Directorist – You’re almost ready to start your directory! banner offers Run the Setup Wizard and Skip setup.
- A separate banner asks whether to Allow Directorist to collect diagnostic data and usage information, with a what we collect link, and Allow / No thanks buttons.
- A A few steps to launch your directory checklist tracks the remaining setup tasks (Manage directory type, Add your real categories, Review payment gateways, Publish your first real listing) with a completion percentage.
Once every task is done — including right after the wizard finishes — this becomes a Your directory foundation is ready banner at 100%, listing the same checklist items as quick links back to each one: Manage directory type, Manage listing categories, Review payment gateways, Manage published listings. Click the X on this banner to dismiss it.

Header #
- The Welcome back, [name] greeting confirms who’s logged in.
- View directory opens your live directory in a new tab.
- + Add listing opens the Add New Listing screen for the directory currently selected in Quick actions.
Stat cards #
Four cards summarize activity for the selected directory:
- Published listings, with a trend note against the previous 30 days.
- Listing views, across published listings.
- Pending review, with a count of listings expiring this week.
- Revenue, with the number of paid orders in the last 30 days.
Quick actions #
Use the Directory dropdown to switch which directory the Quick actions panel and stat cards apply to, if you run more than one. The panel itself links to the tasks you’ll use most often:
- Add a listing – create a new listing in the selected directory.
- Manage categories – organize how listings are grouped.
- Customize listing layout – design the single listing page.
- Submission form settings – control what users can submit.
- Email notifications – set who gets notified, and when.

Recent activity #
A live feed of what’s happened lately — listings published, and similar events — each showing who made the change and when, with an Edit button to jump straight to that listing. Click View all to see the full activity history.
Top navigation #
The Dashboard and Themes and Extensions tabs at the top switch between this screen and the Themes & Extensions screen. Docs, Tutorials, and Support links sit on the right. The footer shows your installed Directorist version, with a What’s new link to the changelog.
