We are providing you two methods for importing demo contents: Automatic and Manual. You can follow either one of these methods.<\/p>\n

Notice:<\/strong>\u00a0please make sure that all theme required plugins are installed and activated.<\/p>\n

There are 2 ways to import:<\/p>\n

  1. One-Click Import(Recommended)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Import Manual<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    One-Click Import<\/h2>\n

    This method will remove all your existing data, so use this method only on the fresh website. This procedure will be faster because you just have to do one click and then everything will happen automatically. If you want an exact clone of the demo website without doing any manual configuration after importing data then this method is appropriate for you.<\/p>\n

    ** Note: Before proceeding, please remember that when you are done with the demo import, all existing settings and contents will be removed and replaced by the demo contents. So it is highly recommended that you should only do this on a fresh site. **<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n

    First please make sure that Direo Parent Theme is activated on your site, then navigate to\u00a0Tools -> Demo Content Install<\/b>. Or alternatively, navigate to\u00a0Plugins -> WpWax Demo Importer -> Install Demo Contents<\/b>.<\/p>\n

    On this page, click on the Install<\/b>\u00a0button for installing the demo.<\/p>\n

    It will take some time for importing the demo contents.<\/p>\n

    After importing demo data, please update your permalink. To update permalink, navigate to\u00a0Settings -> Permalink<\/b> and then click on the\u00a0Save Settings<\/b>\u00a0button.<\/p>\n

    If you face any issue in the demo installation process, please try import manual<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

    Import Manual<\/h2>\n

    1. First, install and activate plugin One Click Demo Import<\/b>. Here’s the plugin link:\u00a0https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/one-click-demo-import\/<\/a><\/li>\n
    2. From the Admin menu, navigate to Appearance -> Import Demo Data<\/i><\/b>. then download the .zip<\/strong> file from here(files)<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and extract it<\/li>\n
    3. On this page, you have to choose 3 files content.xml<\/strong>, widgets.wie<\/strong>, customize.dat, <\/strong>from the extracted folder, then hit the ‘Import Demo Data’ button.<\/li>\n

    5. After importing demo data, download this .zip file<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>and extract it, then copy the file codes and paste it from Directorist Settings<\/strong> >> Import\/Export Settings <\/strong>in Import field then hit the Import button.<\/li>\n

    7. After import please update your permalink. To update permalink, navigate to Settings -> Permalink<\/b> and set Post name<\/strong> then click on Save Settings<\/b> button.
