Displaying Advanced Filter in the Search Result Page<\/h3>\n

You can display or hide advanced search filters in the Directorist search result page from the Directorist Search Settings Page. Visit\u00a0Dashboard \u2192 Directory listings \u2192 Directory Settings \u2192 Search Listings<\/strong>\u00a0page.<\/p>\n

Scroll down to the\u00a0SEARCH RESULT SETTINGS<\/strong>\u00a0section and set the\u00a0Display Filters Button<\/strong>\u00a0option to \u2018YES<\/strong>\u2018 to display the advanced filter in the search result page. There are also some filter-related options available on this page. You can use these options to customize the filters however you like. You can control which fields to show\/hide in the filter form using these options. The description of them is given below.<\/p>\n

Customizing Search Result Filters from the Search Settings Page<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

  1. Filters Button Text<\/strong>: You can modify the text of the \u2018Filters\u2019 button using this field. Enter any text you want to show in the \u2018Filter\u2019 button in this text field. The default is \u2018Filters\u2019.<\/li>\n
  2. Open Filter Fields<\/strong>: You can set how you would like to display the filter form fields when a user clicks on the filter button. Available Options: Sliding<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Overlapping<\/strong>. Select the option you like and see the change in the front end. The default is Sliding.<\/li>\n
  3. Filter Fields<\/strong>: Check the fields you would like to in the search filter in this option. Some fields may need an additional add-on to work properly. For example, the Open Now filter filed needs Directorist Business Hour extension to work properly.<\/li>\n
  4. Filters Button:<\/strong>\u00a0Check the Reset and Apply button if you want to show them in the filter form. Uncheck them to hide them.<\/li>\n
  5. Reset Filters Button Text<\/strong>: You can modify the text of the \u2018Reset Filters\u2019 button using this field. Enter any text you want to show in the \u2018Reset Filter\u2019 button in this text field. The default is \u2018Reset Filters\u2019.<\/li>\n
  6. Apply Filters Button Text<\/strong>: You can modify the text of the \u2018Apply Filters\u2019 button using this field. Enter any text you want to show in the \u2018Apply Filters\u2019 button in this text field. The default is \u2018Apply Filters\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
