This extension automatically adds a new directory type that allows users to post about their needs and creates a way for the service provider to contact the users to serve their needs. It makes the directory more interactive and worthwhile.<\/span><\/p>\n

Installation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To use this plugin, Multi Directory must have to be enabled otherwise it won\u2019t work.<\/span><\/p>\n

To enable Muti directory go to <\/span>\u201cWP Admin Dashboard \u2192 Directory Listings \u2192 Settings \u2192 Listings \u2192 General \u2192 Enable Multi Directory \u2192 Turn On.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

After activating this plugin, A Directory will be created automatically with the name of \u201cNeed Listings\u201d.<\/p>\n

Need Listing Pages<\/h3>\n

To show all Need in a page you need to create a page using the shortcode [directorist_all_needs]. Which you need to create manually.<\/p>\n

To show Needs within a category and location, it needs two new pages that are generated upon installation.<\/p>\n

Posting The Need<\/h2>\n

Users can post their needs from the add listing page. While Post Your Need<\/b> is activated, a new option will appear in listing submission form;\u00a0Need Listings.<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Selecting Need Listings<\/b> option will prepare the form with necessary fields for need submission.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Configuring The ‘Need Listings: Directory’<\/b><\/h2>\n

Add Listings Form:<\/b> To customize the \u2018<\/span>Add Listing Form\u2019<\/b> for \u2018<\/span>Need Listing\u2019<\/b> page, go to \u201c<\/span>WP Admin Dashboard \u2192 Directory Listings \u2192 Directory Builder \u2192<\/b> Need Listings\u201d<\/b> and configure every single tab as per your need. It could be similar to the configuration of <\/span>Add Listing Form<\/b> that you configured earlier. It may vary depending on your needs. <\/span><\/p>\n

Single Page Layout:<\/b> Directory builder also lets you customize the single listing page layout for the need listings. The settings are located in directory builder single page layout; identical to the General Directory \u2192 Single Page Layout<\/span><\/p>\n

All Listing Layout:<\/b> Using the directory builder you can also customize the Need Listings card layout to give your <\/span>Need Listings Page<\/b> a personalized look. <\/span><\/p>\n

There are two card styles in Directorist. They are <\/span>All Listing Grid Layout<\/b> and <\/span>All Listing List Layout<\/b>. You must configure both styles to have your desired look for both the views.<\/span><\/p>\n

Need Listing in User Dashboard<\/h2>\n
