LiveChat extension allows communication between Listing owners and Customers. Website owners only can see the chat history for any investigation. Adding LiveChat to your website adds credibility. Your visitors will instantly know there are real people on the other side ready to help at any moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Install & Configure <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Install Themes & Extensions Go to Directory Listing<\/strong> \u2192  Themes & Extensions \u2192 Connect Account \u2192 Put your Directorist Username & Password<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a successful connection with your account, the system will redirect to Themes & Extension dashboard page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another way To install the Coupon Extension is to Download it from your directorist account dashboard and navigate to WP-Admin \u2192 <\/strong> Plugins \u2192 Add New \u2192 Upload a plugin<\/strong>. Upload the plugin and Activate it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Settings: <\/strong>Setup Live Chat Once activated, make sure to enable the \u201cLive Chat\u201d extension in Directory Settings \u2192 Extensions Settings \u2192 Extensions General \u2192 Live Chat.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Directory Builder: <\/strong>Go through Directory Builder \u2192 Single Listing Layout \u2192 Content \u2192 Preset Fields. <\/strong>If the extension is already enabled then you will find a preset field that needs to be dragged on active fields to show LiveChat interface on a single listing page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortcode: <\/strong>Add the live chat shortcode [directorist_live_chat] <\/strong>on the single listing page to display the live chat section. You can position the shortcode wherever you want. User View- That is it! The setup process has been completed and the live chat extension is ready to be used. Upon completion of the setup, the live chat will appear on the Single Listing Page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NB: <\/strong>LiveChat functionality will not come in view on the All Listing page. To start chatting click on the \u201cStart Chat\u201d button on the Single Listing Page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chat Interface: <\/strong>Here is a demonstration of the live chat extension. On the left panel, the listing owner is chatting from the dashboard and the user is chatting on the right from the single listing page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listing Owner Chat Panel:<\/strong> Listing Owner requires to chat from the User Dashboard Page \u2192 Chat tab.<\/strong> All the chats will be listed on the left sidebar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NB: <\/strong>Listing Owner will receive an Email Notification when there is a new chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Website Owner Panel: <\/strong>Admin can check the history of records, in which listings conversation has been executed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customization: <\/strong> You can customize the chat label on a single listing page  and user dashboard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStart Chatting\u201d Button: <\/strong>You can change the button text of the \u201cStart Chatting\u201d button located on the Single Listing page. This is the button that a user needs to click to start chatting.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Show Chat” Button: <\/strong>You can change the button text of the \u201cShow Chat\u201d button located on the Single Listing page. This button reveals the previous conversations.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Hide Chat” Button: <\/strong>You can also change the button text of the \u201cHide Chat\u201d button. Clicking on it will hide the conversation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Chat” Tab Label (User Dashboard):<\/strong> The \u201cChat\u201d tab label located in the User Dashboard is also editable.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1.  Is there any Shortcode available?<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Ans<\/strong>: Yes. You can adjust the position of the live chat using the following shortcode [directorist_live_chat]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Can I position live chat wherever I want?<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Ans<\/strong>: By default, you are unable to do so for now.
