{"id":649,"date":"2020-06-18T22:01:42","date_gmt":"2020-06-18T22:01:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/directorist.com\/documentation\/?post_type=wpwax_extensions&#038;p=649"},"modified":"2021-07-19T13:08:44","modified_gmt":"2021-07-19T07:08:44","slug":"event-booking","status":"publish","type":"wpwax_extensions","link":"https:\/\/directorist.com\/documentation\/extensions\/directorist-booking\/event-booking\/","title":{"rendered":"Event Booking"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Event: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Event booking simplifies the process of registering for an event by booking tickets<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How to create an event based booking using Directorist Bookings extension\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zvAqSHIg5h8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b>Add An Event Booking Listing: <\/b>Upon successful configuration, you will notice a new section &#8220;Booking&#8221; has been added to the Add Listing Form.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/HGgGxS0.png\" width=\"619\" height=\"382\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To add an event booking listing as an admin navigate to <strong>WP-Admin Dashboard \u2192 Directory Listings \u2192 Add New Listing or <\/strong>to add an event booking listing as a listing owner you need to add a listing just like the way you add a regular listing.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>While filling out the form you will notice a section that reads &#8220;Booking&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Booking Type:<\/strong> Select &#8220;<strong>Event<\/strong>&#8221; as the Booking Type<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/Aw0iBwn.png\" \/><\/li>\n<li><strong>Enable Instant Booking:<\/strong> With this option enabled booking requests will be immediately approved. If you do not want to immediately approve booking and want to review before publishing, then leave it &#8220;unchecked&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Display Available Tickets: <\/strong>Directorist Bookings allows you to display the&#8221;Available Tickets&#8221; count during the booking process.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/QyP6xny.png\" width=\"334\" height=\"207\" \/>However, if you want to hide the &#8220;Available Tickets : 1196&#8221; section then just uncheck the &#8220;Display Available Tickets&#8221; option and available tickets will no longer come in view.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Available Tickets Text:<\/strong> You can also change the text that reads &#8220;Available Tickets&#8221; to anything you like. For example, it could be &#8220;Tickets Remaining&#8221; or &#8220;Left Only&#8221; etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Available Tickets:<\/strong> Available Tickets refers to the total number of tickets available to book.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tickets Allowed Per Booking:<\/strong> You can set maximum tickets a user can book per event.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Book A Ticket\/Tickets: <\/strong>Booking an event ticket in Directorist is very simple and user friendly. Users needs to log in to the site and click\/view the listing service he\/she is interested in. An event ticket can be booked from the sidebar &#8220;Directorist Booking&#8221; widget. Here is an example of how a user can book an event ticket.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s7.gifyu.com\/images\/bookevent2.gif\" width=\"730\" height=\"505\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1-<\/strong>\u00a0 Click on the listing to view the Single listing page.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2-<\/strong> On the right sidebar, you will notice the Directorist Booking widget from where you can select the number of tickets you want to book and then hit the &#8220;Book Tickets&#8221; button.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3-<\/strong> Following that, you will land on a confirmation page wherein you have to put your personal information i.e name, email, phone number, and a short message to the listing owner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4-<\/strong> Clicking on the &#8220;Confirm&#8221; button will confirm the booking and upon confirmation, you will receive an email.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2298,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-649","wpwax_extensions","type-wpwax_extensions","status-publish","hentry","wpwax_extensions_category-directorist-booking"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/directorist.com\/documentation\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wpwax_extensions\/649","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/directorist.com\/documentation\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wpwax_extensions"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/directorist.com\/documentation\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/wpwax_extensions"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/directorist.com\/documentation\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2298"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/directorist.com\/documentation\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=649"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
