The Directorist directory plugin shows a lot of promise. Most of the basics are in place feature-wise and there’s a strong roadmap available for all to see. The themes look great too, which is lacking in most other similar plugins. There are some areas they need to focus on to make the plugin truly scalable for larger more professional directories, but they have such a great team behind it that I am sure they will continue to develop this into possibly the best WordPress Directory Plugin available, and one that offers great value for money. The support I have received has been incredible, especially from Tayar, who has kindly helped resolve some of the initial issues I encountered, going above and beyond what a typical support team usually offers. I would certainly recommend the plugin based on my experience so far and I look forward to their continued development of the plugin to see where it goes, and how it can help improve my business.
