For example, you can display a badge for featured listings and a badge for new listings, etc. Please go to Directory Listings → Directory Settings → Badge Setting Page to customize all badges. Badges settings (Click on the image to see the full size) Displaying Badges You can display badges for the new listings, featured listings, and popular listings. You need to set the Display Badge option to YES to display the badge. Check out the short description of all options related to displaying badges below. Display New Badge: Set this option to YES to display a badge for the new listings on your site. You can hide the badge for the new listings by setting this option to NO. New Badge Text: You can modify the text for the new listing badge in this option field. The default text is ‘New‘. New Badge Duration in Days: Set the number of days a listing should be considered as new after publishing. For example, if you set 2 in this option field, it means any listing which is NOT older than 2 days will be considered as new and a badge will be displayed for that listing. Display Featured Badge: Set this option to YES to display a badge for the featured listings on your site. You can hide the badge for the featured listings by setting this option to NO. Featured Badge Text: You can modify the text for the featured listing badge in this option field. The default text is ‘Featured‘. Display Popular Badge: Set this option to YES to display a badge for the popular listings on your site. You can hide the badge for the popular listings by setting this option to NO. Popular Badge Text: You can modify the text for the popular listing badge in this option field. The default text is ‘Popular‘. Popular Based on: You can decide when a listing should be considered as a popular listing in this option. You can tell the Directorist to consider a listing as popular in one of the three ways. View Count: If you select this option, Directorist will consider a listing as popular based on how many users view that listing. You can tell Directorist after how many views a listing should be considered as popular. Average Rating: If you select this option, Directorist will consider a listing as popular based on average ratings of that listing. You can tell Directorist the minimum number of average rating required for a listing to be considered as popular. Both: If you select this option, Directorist determines popular listings based on the total views and an average rating of a listing. Threshold of Views Count: You can tell Directorist after how many views a listing should be considered as popular in this option. For example, if you set 100 in this option, then a listing will be considered as a popular listing once 100 users view that listing. Count Logged-in User View: You can decide whether you want to count the views of listings of logged-in users or not in this option. Set this option to YES to count the views of logged-in users.
