Rental type refers to Rental Oriented booking system. For example hotel booking, resort booking, apartment booking, office booking, convention hall booking, car booking, boat booking, yacht booking, and so on.
After successful installation, activate the plugin. Now go to Directory listings > Settings > Extensions > Booking. Now select Booking Type as Rental Booking and click the save button.
Upon successful configuration, you will notice a new Booking field on the Add Listing Form. You need to assign the Booking field on Add Listing Form so that the listing owner can set booking information. Navigate to Directory listings > Directory Builder > Add Listing Form > Form Fields. Now drag the booking fields into an existing section or create a new booking section for the Booking field.
Now, the booking section will appear on your add listing form. You can set the regular rental fee and a different fee. You can also set different rental fees for individual days and define availability from the availability calendar.
Now to show the booking section to your user you need to add the Booking field on your Single Listing Form. Navigate to Directory listings > Directory Builder > Singel Page Layout > Contents. Now drag the booking fields into an existing section or create a new booking section for the Booking field.
If you follow all the previous steps properly then you can see the booking section on your single listing page like this.
You can also show this booking section on the Listing’s Right Sidebar. To add this navigate to Appearance > Widgets. Now from Available Widgets pick the Direcorist - Booking and drag it into Directorist - Listing Right Sidebar.
Now you can see the booking section on the right sidebar like this image.
