Stripe Payment Gateway
Directorist Stripe Payment gateway makes the payment experience more sophisticated with its user-friendly interface. Watch the video below to learn more about the configuration.
Currency Limitation: As per the Stripe Documentation, Stripe supports processing payments in 135+ currencies, allowing you to charge customers in their native currency while receiving funds in yours. To ensure whether your desired currency is supported, as well as to check the supported presentment currencies please check with Stripe Documentation here.
Minimum and maximum charge amounts: Stripe has a limitation in regard to the minimum and maximum charge amounts. According to the Official Stripe Documentation–
"As Stripe’s processing fee combines a small fixed amount and a percentage, we enforce a minimum amount when creating a charge. This ensures you don’t lose money on a charge. The minimum amount you can charge depends on which bank account settlement currency the payment would be paid out to."For a detailed report on Minimum and maximum charge amounts refer to the URL here. Note that, if you set the price less than the "minimum" charge amount, for example, for Japanese Yen, Stripe has set the minimum charge amount to ¥50, and if your listing price is ¥40 then it will result in a critical error during the checkout. Therefore, you must make sure the cost of your listing is higher than the minimum charge amount.
