Once you have configured everything properly, test your configuration by submitting a listing. Follow the steps below to test your configuration for monetization.
We assume you have gone through the previous Monetization Documentation sections.
Step 1: Choose a pricing plan to submit a listing.
Step 2: Fill out the form and hit submit.
Step 3: Click on Pay and Submit and you will be redirected to a checkout page. Select your desired payment gateway.
Step 4: Using the Directorist Pricing plan you can either choose Offline(Bank) Gateway, Stripe, or PayPal.
- If you choose "Offline" then you will have to manually transfer the money to the site owner's bank account.
- If you choose PayPal you will be redirected to the PayPal checkout page.
- If you choose Stripe then you will be redirected to a form where you need to put in your card details. If you are testing using the Test Keys then type in 4242 42424 4242 4242 as the card number.
Step 5: This is it! The payment process has been completed and the status of the listing will be "Pending".
Step 6: Go to Directory Listings → Order History → Approve the order if you have received the payment and then publish the listing from "All Listings".
