Searching is one of the salient aspects of a directory site. Browsing through hundreds/thousands of listings could be a tedious task and the importance of a search filter knows no bound here. Directorist lets you have a search filter in multiple places. In this section, you will get to know about the Advanced Filter Widget.
Navigate to WP Admin Dashboard → Appearance → Widgets → Drag and Drop "Directorist- Search Listing Widget" to your desired section.

There are 14 different filters to choose from. You can place the widget to any section you desire. For example, I have placed the widget in the Single Listing Page below.
